„Ich bin immer noch sehr solo. Ich denke, ich bin sogar noch mehr solo als ich war, als ich „In The Lonely Hour“ herausgebracht habe.“ Unter Lachen stellte er fest: „Also ich bin irrsinnig solo.“ Allerdings sei er mittlerweile optimistischer als noch vor einiger Zeit.
Smith hatte zwei Jahre lang musikalisch kaum etwas von sich hören lassen, nachdem er mit „Writing’s On The Wall“ den Titelsong des James-Bond-Abenteuers „Spectre“ abgeliefert hatte. Dafür war der Brite unter anderem mit einem Oscar und einem Golden Globe für den besten Filmsong ausgezeichnet worden. Sein neues Album will Smith noch vor Weihnachten auf den Markt bringen.
